Description of how the game can be used to fit the categories: Simon Trickster is an interactive game that can help players practice many different pattern recognition and memory skills. Concentration is incorporated into this game as the player must first watch the game display a pattern and then repeat the pattern back. This requires a lot of concentration to be able to recognize patterns and then repeat them back in the same sequence. All four game modes of this game require concentration to memorize the patterns and repeat them back in different ways. This game requires visual perception as the player must see the different patterns and colors and interpret the pattern. Then, they must repeat the pattern in the correct order. Short term memory can be worked on using this game as the player must memorize the different patterns and then repeat them back in order or even backwards when playing on the Simon Rewind mode. Visual scanning is necessary to play this game as the player must scan the game to see which piece is lighting up at a time and what color the piece is lighting up.
