Description of how the game can be used to fit the categories: Scrabble is a fun word game that can help players with a variety of skills. This game is a great way to practice academics with reading and vocabulary skills. In order to play, the player must recall words that they know and read the words on the game board to try to come up with words that can be created given the letters provided. Concentration is incorporated into this game because the players must concentrate on the letters that are on the board and what letters they have in order to think of words they could make. They also must concentrate on what the other players are using to be able to strategize what words they could make for more points. Problem solving skills are incorporated in this game when the player must figure out what words to make based on the letters they have and the letters and words already on the board. The player has to decide what they can use to create words that will give them the most points. Pinch and grasp can be practiced by playing this game if the player picks up the letter tiles using a pinch grip. This can practice this skill which can help with holding a pencil.
