Description of how the game can be used to fit the categories: This game is a fun and different take on practicing math facts. SMATH incorporates addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division into one game where the player must create true mathematical equations. This game practices many math skills. Problem solving is very integrated into this game as the player not only has to solve the math equations on the board to see if they are correct, but they also must figure out how to make correct equations on the board by adding the pieces that they have. Fine motor skills are incorporated into this game when the player picks up the math tiles and moves them on the specific pieces on the board. Concentration is required in this game to focus on what math equations the player can make based on the other player’s moves as well as focusing on solving the math problems on the board.
