Description of how the game can be used to fit the categories: May I? Memory Game is a fun way for players to practice memory skills and manners. Short term memory can be practiced by playing this game because the players must remember what players have the different spots so they can ask “May I?” before moving to this spot. The players only reveal which spots they have at the beginning of the game, so they must remember this throughout the game. Concentration is important for this game because players need to focus on what spots they land on to make sure they ask before they place their playing piece on the spot. They also should pay attention to make sure that other players ask before they land on the spaces that they have. Fine motor skills are incorporated into this game when players need to move their game pieces to the different spots on the board. Social skills are practiced while playing this game because players must ask each other “May I?” before placing their game piece on the spot that another player has.
