Description of how the game can be used to fit the categories: The Bionicle Adventure game is a challenging game that requires players to use a variety of cognitive skills. Academics are incorporated into this game because the players can practice counting when they roll the dice and are required to move their game piece across the board. Cause and Effect are incorporated into this activity because the players must understand what the different tokens on the board represent and depending on what they roll, they can either defeat the opponent or lose and not be allowed to move further on the board. Fine motor skills are incorporated into this activity when the players must roll the dice, move their game piece on the board, or place the challenge tokens on the board. Problem solving skills are required for this game because the players must determine how they want to connect the game board and use strategy to ensure that they can get a good placement on the board.
