Description of how the game can be used to fit the categories: This game is a fun and interactive way for players to practice fine motor skills. In order to create their cootie, they must roll the dice and see what number they land on. Rolling and picking up the dice requires fine motor skills. Also, picking up and putting together the pieces of their cootie requires fine motor skills. Eye/hand coordination can be worked on using this toy as the player must select the appropriate piece for their cootie, and then put it together in the correct spot. Academics are incorporated into this game with the reading to the dice. The players can practice counting when reading the dice to see what cootie part they are able to select. Attention span can be worked on while playing this game because the player must play multiple rounds to be able to finally assemble their entire cootie. Because it takes a while for the player to get all of the cootie parts, this can encourage the player to stay attentive to the game so they can finish making their cootie.
