Description of how the game can be used to fit the categories: The game of Elefun Snackin Safari is a fun game that gets players up and moving. Gross motor skills are involved in this game because the players must be moving around to try to find the different food item cards and use their elephant snacker to grab the different cards from the ground. This involves a lot of actions with the entire body. Motor planning can be developed by playing this game because the players must be able to plan where they need to be in relation to the different food cards as well as how to move their arm to make the elephant snacker grab the different cards. Eye/hand coordination is involved in this game because the players must find the food card they want to grab and then coordinate their arm movement with the elephant snacker to be able to pick the card up from the ground. Visual scanning can be practiced by playing this game because the players must scan their environment to see where the different food cards are in relation to themselves.
