Subcategories: Creativity/Imagination/Symbolic Play, Fine Motor Skills, Emotional Regulation, Eye/Hand Coordination

Description of how the game can be used to fit the categories: The game Robo Champ is a fun and creative way for players to battle against each other to create their robot first. Creativity and imagination can be developed through playing this game because the players can create their robot in any way that they want using the LEGOs provided. Fine motor skills are incorporated into the game because the players are using LEGOs and putting the little pieces together. Fine motor skills are also involved because the players must roll the dice as well. Emotional regulation can be worked on by playing this game because if a player rolls a black side of the dice, then they have to give the other player a piece of their robot. This can be frustrating and upsetting for a player, but they can be given different coping strategies and also supported and told that it is ok and they still have the chance to get them back. Eye/hand coordination can be worked on by playing this game because the players must find the piece that they can get depending on what color they roll, and then pick it up and place it on their robot creation.
