The American Political Science Association, founded in 1903, is the leading professional organization for the study of political science and serves more than 15,000 members in over 80 countries. With a range of programs and services for individuals, departments and institutions, APSA brings together political scientists from all fields of inquiry, regions, and occupational endeavors within and outside academe in order to expand awareness and understanding of politics.

The purpose of the Resources section of the CSS website is outreach - i.e., it features the analyses of CSS experts, external partners and like-​minded institutions in order to promote dialogue on international relations and security-​related issues. CSS Resources is the successor to the International Relations and Security Network (ISN).

The International Studies Association (ISA) was founded in 1959 to promote research and education in international affairs. With well over four thousand members in North America and around the world, ISA is the most well respected and widely known scholarly association in this field.
