An adapted book is any book that has been modified in some way that makes it more accessible to a student who has difficulty with typical books. That can mean adding braille, making the text easier, or adding in moveable pictures or visuals.
This guide provides a pictured list of the Adapted Books available in our Library's Curriculum Materials Center for use in the classroom or one-on-one with students who have difficulty with standard books.
Books can be checked out for a period of 4 weeks and may be renewed 2 times.
Saint Francis University is committed to making its websites accessible to all users.
Please send comments or suggestions on accessibility improvements to disability services.
