Description |
The student Radio Club was started in 1948. A carrier-current station began broadcasting in May 1950 as KSFC at 580 on the am dial. In 1963 the station was licensed non-student commercial with call letters WWSF. Call letters were changed in 2001 to reflect the change to Saint Francis University KSFC. FM band was added in 2002. Station was known as WRED in 2003 and RED Radion in 2006.
